HAKKA - BETTER SERVICE PLEASE!!

So I heard there was a new restaurant in Woodbrook - an Asian fusion restaurant. Of course I was eager to try something new.
However, the first experience was pitiful - and this is being very very kind. I and my young adult children sat there for over 45 minutes until I got up and asked if we were forgotten with our appetizers. These finally arrived.

Next we sat there for about 2 hours before getting our main course! And if you are wondering, no I did not just sit there waiting. I actually got up and had had to enquire several times if my server had gone off duty; had forgotten us; or if the chefs were overwhelmed that night. It was a frustrating and unpleasant experience. The only saving factor is that I enjoyed the company of my family.

I decided to give them another chance as I thought it was soon after their opening and on a weekend night also. So I went again on a Saturday about 2pm when there were hardly any diners. The result? The service was just as poor as the first time.

I absolutely will not recommend this dining experience to anyone! The service is of the lowest standard and to be honest, the food is just average. It is not worth the bother and frustration.

You want good Asian food? Go to Jenny's for a more casual experience, or to Tiki Village for a bit of upscale experience. Both have better tasing food - which is the whole point, right? And the service is better at both these restaurants.
